Biography[]

Hattori Tetsuya was born in Tokyo, Japan on March 18, 1959. Ever since a young age, Hattori had a deep appreciation for Chinese martial arts[1].

In 1986, Wu Lianzhi was visiting Japan to give lectures. During this time, Hattori met Wu, and subsequently began to learn Wu Family Kai Men Bajiquan from him, studying under him as a student.

Hattori founded the Kai Men Boxing Club in Tokyo. Since opening, it has recruited over 100 students and five disciples. There are also multiple branch clubs all over Japan. Every year, his teacher Wu Lianzhi is invited to Tokyo, Japan to host a seminar.
